He studied Sports Psychology at the PhD. Level at Florida State University earning an ABD. In 2006 he earned National Board Certification in the field of Counseling. He had a 43 year career as a teacher, counselor and athletic coach before retiring from education in 2016.
Utilizing his educational background and his lifetime love for writing, he launched his 2nd career as an author in 2021 with his first book titled, The Tales of Big Cat. The Crowning, Culmination of the Nation (2022) is the first in a series of dramatically exciting action packed books in the genre of historical fiction.
