His books have been translated into Chinese, Korean, Czech, Indonesian, and Hungarian. In addition to these languages, his articles have appeared in Turkish and French translation. Currently he is preparing one manuscript for publication and working on the writing of another, both of which deal with theology and culture. An avid traveler, Dr. Adams has visited 149 countries and territories. With his wife, Carol, he especially enjoys hiking in the t, exploring archaeological sites, discovering the transcendent at places of religious devotion, and sailing to the lonely places of the world by cruise ship.
