(retirement housing professional) in 1996. With over 20 years of healthcare financial and operations experience, Rod has had various management positions ranging from Chief Financial Officer to President of hospitals and rehabilitation companies. Additionally, Rod is a former Assistant Director of the Arizona Department of Health Services and is known for his regulatory compliance expertise. His efforts in legislative advocacy for the not-for-profit sector have encompassed local, state as well as national forums while his for-profit endeavors have achieved sole provider status in master planned communities. Rod earned his B.S. from Olivet Nazarene University, his M.S.W. from the University of Illinois, and Ph.D. in health care administration from Lael College and Graduate School.Rod resides with his wife, Rosey, in Gilbert, Arizona, and is the former-Executive Director of Bethesda Gardens Assisted Living & Memory Care of Phoenix.
