Karl lives in Hull, UK, and is married with two young sons, an addiction to unhealthy foods, and two gorgeous dogs.A long standing community campaigner, Karl has played pivotal roles in numerous local campaigns, and as a published author, Karl has contributed articles to UK papers and magazines including The Guardian, New Statesman, Liberal Conspiracy, Tribune Magazine, Morning Star, The London Progressive Journal, and numerous others.He is a regular guest on BBC Radio, and a lifelong devotee of Hull Kingston Rovers, and Liverpool FC. Karl has appeared on numerous local news outlets connected with a multitude of issues, and engages in public speaking in support of various causes.Working in collaboration with the Universities of Brighton & Bournemouth respectively, Karl contributed the opening chapter to a book published by PCCS Books about dealing with suicide.
