Given an assignment to write a short story to share with a 1st grade buddy, he ended up writing a 116-page behemoth based on the Shannara series by Terry Brooks, one of Jon's earliest favorite fantasy series. The story has tragically been lost to history, but the same drive propels him to continue writing today.He has worked as an elementary school teacher for more than a decade.
