The trip inspired a memoir, which led to ten novels, a story collection, a book about faith, and many newspaper, magazine, and blog articles and stories. He grew up on hardscrabble farms in Northeast Texas and the Panhandle. Hehas been an accountant, financial planner, stockbroker, team roper, and owner of a western wear and tack store. He writes based on his experiences. Always a wannabe cowboy, he still lives in the country with wife, Jan, and horse, Shooter.He enjoys hearing from readers.
