Graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law (1995), the author became a scientist (1998) with his master's thesis titled "Examination of the Tophane Court No. 7 Sharia Registry Book" and a doctorate with his study "Ebussuud Efendi's Place in Ottoman Law" ( 2004).
