Sutton Sr. and Ruth (Roby) Sutton. His elementary education was obtained in a parochial school, and his secondary education was completed in 1949 at St. Xavier in Louisville Ky.
In September 1949, he enrolled in the University of Louisville, school of arts and sciences, and majored in Biology. In June 1953, he received the degree of Bachelor of Arts.
In August 1953, he was inducted into the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was honorably discharged in June 1955.
In September 1956, he was employed as a technician in the Materials Quality Control Laboratory. In June 1965, he received the degree of MBA in Mathematics from the University of Louisville. He was later promoted to VP and director of purchasing, and then retired after a thirty-five-year career.lihat lebih sedikit
