I studied the literature extensively but never had a UFO experience. It seems fitting that I should shape my science fiction writing around the idea. I had a long career in journalism, engineering, and transportation management. I wrote for a transportation newspaper and outdoors adventure magazines. I also taught and practiced photography. My history also includes graphic arts, computer programming, electronics, and even amateur radio. My writing is also colored by hiking, camping, sailing, scuba diving, dance, and travel.
