Breda is also the author of The Wit and Widsom of Kerry and her latest title Hidden Kerry The Keys to the Kingdom. She has been awarded Provincial Journalist of the Year and was given a Certificate of Merit in the Justice Media Awards. She has also been shortlisted for the Francis MacManus Short Story Competition and the RTÉ/Penguin Ireland Short Story competition.
