The greatest inspirations of his childhood and adolescence came from the stories written by Cornelia Funke, Eoin Colfer, and Rick Riordan, though he has since developed an appreciation for the works of Mark Lawrence, Naomi Novik, and Brandon Sanderson. Greatly influenced by his past love for poetry, Christopher endeavors to instill a sense of poetic narration in his style, believing it to be the greatest vehicle for wonder and beauty in the literary arts.
