She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1976. She always had a compassion for writing. However, English being her second language it was a struggle for her. But with effort she completed the book If Problems were Pigeons. She was inspired to write the poem The Walls of the Heart, after seeing a graffiti painted on the wall of the property where she worked at.
Her background is of a real estate conveyancer/receptionist. She treasures her time with all the children in the family especially her young and beautiful nieces and nephews.
