His columns have appeared in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. He has lectured across Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, and Russia. M.A. and Ph.D., Columbia University. He also studied at University of Vienna, Moscow University, Notre Dame, and Stanford.
