He studied BA Drama at the University of Pretoria and Education, through the University of South Africa. During his childhood, Cornelius and Nils Holgerson could have been the same character. In short, he was always a good-natured naughty little ‘Dennis the menace’ type of boy. From a young age, his mother couldn’t use enough soap to wash that crimson African farm soil out of his lily blonde hair. Cornelius had the perfect childhood living on a farm that any city boy could only dream about.
