He tried his hand on numerous trades: deckhand on oil rig, painter, construction worker, cable guy, etc. Creating not a working-class hero. To the contrary, no hero, no glamor, only a toughened hide and a man of many skills – part Handyman/part Renaissance man. Winning a poetry contest at college, then writing for a prospective cartoon that was mismanaged to failure, were some of his early writing ventures. Still, it simmered inside until it finally boiled over in a contemplative heap of thoughts and incites. Now, with great earnest, it must proceed. Heated emanations from the soul!!!
