She grew up on the edge of the Fitzgerald River National Park and developed a deep connection with the unique landscape of the south west of WA. When not teaching at ECU or for Navitas, she is camping, fishing and picking up plastic and rubbish from one of the wild beaches between Esperance and Walpole.
