A bipolar advocate who worked on a staph vaccine in a biochemistry lab at a major medical research university, Kristi subscribed to the "Journal of Clinical Psychiatry" while researching and writing the book. Her current company has an amazing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policy, and she has been working with the DEI Committee to provide better support for employees with mental health challenges.
