In the year of 2023, she was highlighted as Bocas Lit Fest's 'New Voices' which acknowledges a special showcase of debut and self-published books by T&T authors, in her home country exploring a diversity of voices, subjects, and styles. Along with receiving the First Authors Award presented by Nalis the national library in her mother land that year.
