Amongst others, he worked for four different multi-national companies. He also experienced four redundancies and long periods of unemployment as a result.
Over about a twenty year period, he put most of his energy into volunteering for various charitable and community groups promoting natural environment, health, disability awareness and community empowerment.
He is now enjoying his retirement watching football, painting, playing Bridge and Mah Jong and going to the theatre.
He has had highs, but many more lows in his life. Good friends, supportive family and Transcendental Meditation (since 1973) have pulled him through those lows.
He has been, metaphorically, knocked down many times but has got up again every time. Each time coming back stronger and more resilient than before.
