He taught in Missouri public schools for forty years, eighteen as high school English teacher, speech and debate coach, director of theatre and twenty-two as high school principal. In retirement, Cowan has divided his time between his beloved hometown of Oak Ridge, MO, and his second home in the historic Central West End of the city of St. Louis. Cowan professed his belief in Jesus Christ at age ten and has been an active layperson in the Southern Baptist Church throughout his life.lihat lebih sedikit
